NOD TO THE GOATS

Thrasher Magazine and HUF Worldwide - Two names that are iconic in skateboarding and are representative of the West Coast skate culture and the community built around it.

Thrasher Magazine was started in San Francisco in 1981, and soon came to be known to this day as “The Bible” of the skate world. Around the same time, on the East Coast, Keith Hufnagel was skating down the streets of New York tagging “HUF One” wherever he went, before moving to San Francisco to become a pro skater.

This year HUF Worldwide turned 20! And in celebration of their 20th Anniversary, HUF joined forces with Thrasher Magazine to celebrate their legacies with a limited edition drop.

The drop screams vintage, leaning into themes from “America’s national pastime” which is a recurring theme throughout the drop. Baseball, team inspired fonts, prints and graphics can be seen on the caps, tshirts, sweatshirts, socks and jackets. Even the Thrasher Skategoat logo gets a makeover that can be seen through the entire collection. The drop adopts a very vintage sporty colour palette with white, orange, blue and brown.

Some of the stand out pieces in this drop includes the Center Field Baseball Jersey, which as the name suggests, a vintage sportswear-inspired baseball jersey featuring collaborative HUF & Thrasher artwork in appliqué at the front and embroidered patches at both sleeves.

The Rincon T- shirt is another standout piece with a graphic print in the front featuring the Thrasher Flame logo but not in the signature Banco font, while the skategoat logo takes on the form of a baseball playing goat!

Another piece worth mentioning is the Field Crew Jacket, a rich chocolate brown workwear inspired jacket with embroidered and applique details on the front and Thrasher HUF in applique on the back.

The Thrasher x HUF Worldwide collection is live on Capsul and yours to grab. Check out https://www.shopcapsul.com/collections/huf-x-thrasher to browse the whole collection.
