Created in collaboration with Gabrielle Szwarcenberg, these KOMONO sunglasses draw inspiration from Beat Generation artist Harry Smith's String Figure archive—a collection celebrating loops, knots, and interconnected forms as tools for storytelling, learning, and play. Influenced by the limitless possibilities of a single continuous string, the design uses overlapping wire elements that interact with the face, transforming the sunglasses into a sculptural piece of facial jewellery.
